I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my clinical training at Northwestern University and have been practicing psychotherapy since 1998. I was accepted as a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2003. I specialize in couples therapy and adolescent therapy but have extensive experience in working with all populations. I also have several years of experience in working with a variety of clinical issues. I currently specialize in the treatment of relational problems, depression, adolescent issues, anxiety disorders, and adjustment problems. I also assist clients in pursuing what I refer to as life enhancement, a process in which I help clients discover how they can improve their overall life experience. I have extensive training in implementing a variety of treatment techniques, including solution-focused psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. In addition to practicing psychotherapy, I also enjoy oil painting, sketching, music and spending time with my family.
